UX and UI
Design

A well-designed user interface increases the business efficiency of digital products and builds positive customer experiences.

Is it worth investing in design?

Designing interactions that take into account business goals and user needs brings numerous benefits:

1.

Improved user experience - thoughtful product design translates into the intuitiveness, usability, and attractiveness of the interface, making it easier for users to identify with it and use it more willingly.

2.

Closer achievement of business goals - systematic project documentation enables the creation of solutions that strictly fulfill business assumptions.

3.

Increased competitiveness - aesthetic and functional design can differentiate a product in the market, attracting customers' attention and competing with other solutions.

4.

Better brand identification - the consistency and visual uniqueness of the product strengthen the brand identity, building trust and recognition in the market.

5.

Improved conversion - well-designed interfaces facilitate process execution, which translates into key performance indicators (KPIs) of the product, increasing efficiency and affecting financial results.

6.

Improved SEO positioning - search engine algorithms favor websites with well-designed UX, which translates into lower SEO costs and paid campaigns.

7.

Aesthetics sells - research confirms that customers are more likely to buy more through aesthetically pleasing and structured user interfaces.

8.

Cost reduction - thoughtful and well-designed solutions can help avoid costly mistakes by focusing on optimizing the user interaction process.

9.

Innovation - product design can also help generate innovative solutions and ideas to create more attractive and advanced products.

In general, albeit without reduction, design makes sense. Directly - by enhancing user comfort, and long-term - by increasing customer loyalty and return.

Let’s get started!
UX/UI Design — business benefits in numbers

A well-designed user interface translates into increased user satisfaction, which enhances business metrics (conversion rate, shopping cart size, return rate) and reduces costs associated with product design and development (optimization of usability during the prototype stage).

Three steps to success

1. Start

Analyze the needs of your customers and define your business objectives in the context of the market environment.

2. Design Phase

Create a project that meets business requirements while giving users an intuitive interface.

3. Final Tests

Listen to users, explore paths, verify original assumptions and optimize your product.

design process

The basis of our work is the methodology known as the “double diamond” - a design process developed since the 1990s and widely used by designers.

The process involves an iterative and multi-stage approach to design, focusing on understanding the problem and user needs, as well as clarifying business objectives.

Here is the general course of this process.

The first diamond consists of two phases:

1.

Discover - in this phase, designers focus on understanding the problem or challenge, identifying project goals, and user expectations. Methods we use include market research, competitive analysis, user needs analysis, creation of user personas, and customer journey mapping.

2.

Define - this phase defines specific goals of the project and determines the areas that will be designed.

The second diamond contains the following two phases:

1.

Develop - based on the insights and guidelines from the previous two phases, designers proceed to create product prototypes, which are then validated against the design assumptions and during user testing.

2.

Delivery - in this phase, designers deliver final solutions for implementation along with design documentation and a design system to streamline the production process.

During the UX/UI design process, designers go through both diamonds, focusing on understanding the problem and creating solutions in the first diamond, and then delivering solutions in the second diamond. This approach allows for continuous iterations, refining solutions and incorporating user feedback at every stage, leading to better end results in the form of products tailored to user needs.

FAQ

Ready to make a big impact with Salesforce?
Ask us a question

Can the appearance of Salesforce be customized to match a company's visual identity?

Yes, Salesforce allows extensive customization of the application's appearance to reflect a company's branding! You can adjust colors, logos, fonts, and page layouts using tools like Salesforce Lightning App Builder and custom themes. Customization can also extend to login pages, email templates, and dedicated apps, ensuring a consistent user experience aligned with the organization's branding. Salesforce provides a set of tools and components that help balance a unique corporate style with platform guidelines.

What does the UX/UI design process for Salesforce applications look like?

The UX/UI design process for Salesforce applications follows proven project phases, including: defining business goals and users, conducting user research (e.g., interviews, current process analysis), developing information architecture and wireframes, and then creating visual designs that comply with the Salesforce Lightning Design System.Next comes prototyping and user testing, which helps identify usability issues and gather feedback. The process concludes with implementation, followed by iterative improvements and optimizations based on user feedback and new business requirements.

How long does the UX/UI design process on Salesforce take?

The timeline depends on the project’s size, complexity, and scope. For simple apps or interface modifications, the process may take a few weeks to two months. More extensive projects involving detailed research, prototyping, testing, and implementation can take 3 to 6 months, or even longer for large-scale enterprise deployments. Key factors influencing the schedule include the number of iterations, user availability for testing, and the extent of customization and integration with other systems.

How are prototypes and final solutions tested in Salesforce?

Testing includes several stages: usability testing with end users, functional and integration testing, and finally, User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Prototypes are shared with users who perform test scenarios to assess the interface's intuitiveness and effectiveness. Feedback is collected to iteratively refine the design. During UAT, the solution is checked for alignment with business requirements, proper functioning across user roles, and integration with other systems. Regular testing and user feedback are essential to ensure a high-quality experience and minimize post-implementation issues.

What are the costs of UX/UI design for Salesforce?

Costs vary based on project complexity, number of screens, customization level, and the team's experience.

Simple projects: €1,000–€3,00
Medium-sized applications: €4,650–€11,600
Large, complex enterprise deployments: €23,300–€116,000 or more

Other factors affecting pricing include the number of iterations, extent of user research and testing, and additional services like documentation or post-implementation support.
